Announcement: Terminatryx joins FANGORIA Musick!

Here at FANGORIA Musick, we’re always on the prowl to find the most unique and visceral voices around the world to fill our wicked roster. However, we’ve never quite had anyone quite like Terminatryx, the kick-ass South African metal machine with a haunting Gothic flavor to their sordid symphonies. However, when the opportunity arose to bring Terminatryx aboard the FANGORIA Musick family in time for their 13th anniversary, we leapt at the opportunity to enlist the eerie outfit.

For those unfamiliar with Terminatryx, here is the official bio for the rocking, shocking duo…

Spawned in 2002, Terminatryx is a unique female-fronted Alternative band from Cape Town, South Africa, blending  styles from Metal, Industrial and Gothic, to Rock, movie soundtrack moods and more. There are no other bands like Terminatryx on the South African scene, nor the rest of the continent. They’ve performed across their home country, including major festivals, in Germany and supported international bands like Ministry, VNV Nation, Sheep On Drugs, Diary Of Dreams, Sigue Sigue Sputnik, and were chosen as part of a special performance shoot on SA Metal bands by Banger Films.

The band’s impacting music is further enhanced by their own music video productions which always skirts the macabre, horror or dark themes, and has been selected at festivals like Montreal Comicon, SciFiLondon, Salt Lake City Horror Film Festival, South African HorrorFest, Celludroid and won awards at the Barossa Film Festival.

Made up of Sonja Ruppersberg on lead vocals, Paul Blom on Guitars/Bass/Synths, Patrick Davidson on Guitar and Ronnie Belcher on Drums, the first FANGORIA Musick release for Terminatryx will be LUCKY 13: ANTHOLOGY 1, a compilation of the band’s top tracks from their three previously released albums that span their 13-year history. The album will be released on Friday, November 13th, and for more information on Terminatryx, you can check out their official website HERE. In the meantime, you can check out the music video for the track “Gone” from LUCKY 13 below!
