A single take of terror in new “GRAVITY” trailer

At San Diego Comic-Con this past weekend, world class director Alfonso Cuarón (CHILDREN OF MEN) apparently revealed he’d like to set his sights on a horror movie next. Funny, considering this extended sequence from his upcoming technologically innovative deep space thriller GRAVITY may end up one of the most tense and horrifying things this year.

Unspooling in a masterful long take not dissimilar from his work in CHILDREN OF MEN, this excerpt of danger befalling a crew of astronauts may dazzle your eyes while you hold your breath. It apparently knocked the socks off the entirety of Hall H on Saturday, and it’s not hard to understand why.

GRAVITY, starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney, is in theaters October 4th.
