Adrien Brody/Sam Neill chiller “BACKTRACK” gets U.S. date


The Australian supernatural film also featuring THE LOVED ONES antiheroine Robin McLeavy is headed toward Stateside release next year.

Saban Films has announced that BACKTRACK, written and directed by Michael Petroni, will debut in theaters and on premium VOD March 11. The movie, which world-premiered at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival, co-stars George Shevtsov, THE ROAD WARRIOR’s Bruce Spence, Jenni Baird and Chloe Bayliss; the synopsis: “Troubled psychotherapist Peter Bowers [Brody] is suffering from nightmares and eerie visions. When he uncovers the horrifying secret shared by his patients, he is put on a course that takes him back to the remote hometown he fled years ago. There in False Creek, he is consumed by solving a decades-old mystery that holds the key to his strange and menacing delusions.” See our review here and the movie’s trailer below.
