“AFTERSHOCK” Blu-ray/DVDetails, cover art, exclusive pics

Eli Roth and Chilean filmmaker Nicolás López teamed to shake up the genre scene with their horror/disaster hybrid AFTERSHOCK, and it’s headed for Blu-ray and DVD later this summer. We’ve got the info, cover and a few exclusive photos to share.

Anchor Bay Entertainment releases AFTERSHOCK on disc August 6, with 1.78:1 transfers accompanied by a behind-the-scenes featurette and a gag reel; retail prices are $24.98 for the DVD, $29.99 for the Blu-ray. Roth (pictured in 1st photo below, and the 2nd with López) co-scripted and produced AFTERSHOCK and also stars as “Gringo,” an American tourist partying in Chile with local friends when a massive earthquake hits, plunging the land into chaos and sending the group into a horrific struggle for survival. Roth talks about the movie in our exclusive video interview here.
