“AMERICAN HORROR STORY: FREAK SHOW” Premiere Announced; First Teaser

And so the annual tradition of a barrage of stylish, eerie AMERICAN HORROR STORY teasers begins.

FX has announced a Wednesday, October 8th premiere for the fourth season of AMERICAN HORROR STORY. Entitled FREAK SHOW, the official synopsis for the series follows: American Horror Story: Freak Show begins its tale in the quiet, sleepy hamlet of Jupiter, Florida. The year is 1952. A troupe of curiosities has just arrived to town, coinciding with the strange emergence of a dark entity that savagely threatens the lives of townsfolk and freaks alike. This is the story of the performers and their desperate journey of survival amidst the dying world of the American carny experience.

Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Evan Peters, Frances Conroy, Emma Roberts and Jamie Brewer all return alongside newcomers John Caroll Lynch, Wes Bentley and Patti LaBelle. See the first teaser for the season, one that’s appropriately inviting, below.
