Artsploitation dates “CUB,” grabs “KNUCKLES”

We told you last week about some cool horror features coming this summer from Artsploitation Films, and now the company has revealed the release date for another as well as its latest fest-favorite acquisition.

Artsploitation has set an August 18 Blu-ray/DVD debut for CUB (pictured above), from Belgian filmmaker Jonas Govaerts. It’s a grisly, uncompromising survival-horror opus centering on a group of cub scouts on a camping trip who are terrorized by a deranged killer and his feral young follower (see our review here). Special features, if any, have yet to be announced for the discs; you can see CUB’s trailer below. Coming this fall from Artsploitation is Matt O’Mahoney’s BLOODY KNUCKLES, the outrageous story of a cartoonist’s severed hand that comes to life and seeks revenge for its former owner (review here). We’ll keep you informed on details for both, and you can read more about them in upcoming issues of FANGORIA!  Visit Artsploitation’s official website.
