• Jennifer Blanc-Biehn talks “THE NIGHT VISITOR”; exclusive pics, first poster


    Jennifer Blanc-Biehn has been making a name for herself in horror as an actress and producer, alongside her husband Michael Biehn. Now she has taken the reins of her first feature as director, THE NIGHT VISITOR (not to be confused with the 1971 film of the same name), which wrapped in LA last Tuesday. She spoke to us about the project (which we last reported on here), and provided some new exclusive photos to go with a just-released poster.

    Often, the stories that shake our skulls most are those that toy with the brain inside. Chad Crawford Kinkle’s debut feature JUG FACE, which premiered at this year’s Slamdance, does just that. Bearing themes similar to THE VILLAGE, RED STATE, KILL LIST and THE WOMAN (the latter also produced by Andrew van den Houten), the film is set in a cultish backwoods community, one developed far outside the norms of contemporary societal ideologies and customs. Read on for comments by van den Houten and others on the JUG FACE team, and a few exclusive pics.

    Let’s make this clear: WRONG COPS is a party. Oh, and don’t worry,
    it’s appropriately blood-infused. While writer/director Quentin Dupieux (STEAK,
    RUBBER, WRONG) may deny the “experimental” classification, he is certainly
    known for his authentic filmmaking choices, so expect WRONG COPS to exceed all
    levels of dissidence.
