Axelle Carolyn’s “SOULMATE” Debuts New Poster from Humphreys

Lauded UK illustrator and graphic designer Graham Humphreys (THE BORDERLANDS) has lent his skills to the upcoming debut feature from Axelle Carolyn, SOULMATE. Billed as something of an elegant and heavily atmospheric film (not unlike what we’ve seen from her short work), the artist has delivered a lovely illustration that would accompany such a movie well.

In SOULMATE, Anna Walton (HELLBOY II: THE GOLDEN ARMY) stars as the recently widowed Audrey, who moves to the countryside in a bid to get her life back on track. When she realizes the cottage she’s renting is haunted, she decides to stay and strikes up an odd relationship with the ghost…

Having just been announced as headlining the Etheria Film Night at Hollywood’s Egyptian Theatre this July, SOULMATE will also be playing this week’s Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival, where Fango will be on hand for a handful of genre screenings and the European debut of the Frontieres International Co-Production Market.

For more on Humphreys work, see his official site. Keep an eye on Fango for more on SOULMATE in the coming weeks. [Empire]
