Boozy creature feature “GRABBERS” gets trailer, great poster

It’s fairly frequent that film fans suggest a midnight movie be accompanied with beverages of the adult sort, with Irish horror-comedy GRABBERS and its new illustrated poster seemingly primed for (and encouraging) such an experience.

Directed by Jon Wright, from a script by Kevin Lehane, GRABBERS finds a coastal Irish town besieged by tentacled creatures. The residents and officers tasked with dealing with the situation soon find a healthy buzz wards them off and helps in fighting back. Liquid courage, eh?

Hitting VOD  and various digital platforms from IFC this July 19, GRABBERS looks like good, sloshy fun. For more, you can see what writer Lehane had to tell Fango about the film prior to its 2012 Sundance premiere, right here.
