Check out the frightening first seven minutes of “SOUTHBOUND”!

The anthology feature SOUTHBOUND brings multiple kinds of terror to the back roads of the American Southwest, and you can get a good taste of it from the opening sequence (which is NSFW), viewable after the jump!

SOUTHBOUND, which comes to theaters February 5 and cable VOD/digital February 9 from The Orchard, was created by the producers of V/H/S and features segments directed by Radio Silence, Roxanne Benjamin, David Bruckner and Patrick Horvath. Chad Villella, Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Fabianne Therese, Nathalie Love, Hannah Marks, Dana Gould, Mather Zickel, David Yow, Matt Peters and Larry Fessenden are among the actors seen and heard among the various tales. The synopsis: “On a desolate stretch of desert highway, weary travelers—two men on the run from their past, a band on their way to the next gig, a man struggling to get home, a brother in search of his long-lost sister and a family on vacation—are forced to confront their worst fears and darkest secrets in these interwoven tales of terror and remorse on the open road.”
