Chicago’s Terror in the Aisles closes November with Argento and Fulci in 35MM

Fantastic Chicago screening series Terror in the Aisles is giving Italian horror fans something to be thankful for this weekend (sorry, I’m so sorry) when they follow the Midwest premiere of Gary Schultz’s acclaimed new horror/comedy DEVIL IN MY RIDE with rare 35MM prints of Argento’s immortal SUSPIRIA and Lucio Fulci’s THE BLACK CAT. That’s plus short films, vendors and special guests.

Getting underway at 7 p.m. with a program of vintage trailers and shorts, Schultz’s DEVIL IN MY RIDE (w/the director in attendance; see our review) kicks off the features at 7:30 p.m. with SUSPIRIA and THE BLACK CAT to follow at 9:30 p.m. and 11:15 p.m., respectively. Included in shorts lineup is Jason Eisener’s wonderul TREEVENGE, a host of THE ABCs OF DEATH M entries and more.

In a very rad move, advanced tickets for the entire night are only $10, while day-of-show are $12. For much more, including tickets, visit the Terror in the Aisles Facebook and Brown Paper Tickets.
