Drafthouse Films goes for “CHEAP THRILLS”

In their first major horror acquisition, Drafthouse Films has snagged EL Katz’s nasty, subversive debut.

CHEAP THRILLS, a darkly comedic horror film, reunites THE INNKEEPERS’ Pat Healy and Sara Paxton in a tale about how, well, cheap we are. “Recently fired and facing eviction, Craig has his life turned upside down when he meets a wealthy couple who offer a path to financial security… but at a price.”

Deadline reports Drafthouse will release the film theatrically, but no projected date as of yet.
