EXCL: Bill Moseley to play Doctor in Body Horror, “LOVE SICK”

Based on ABCs OF DEATH competition entry “M is for Marriage,” Todd Freeman’s budding feature LOVE SICK is amassing quite the cast. Already featuring the leading talents of Francisco Barreiro (HERE COMES THE DEVIL) and AMERICAN MARY standout Tristan Risk, as well as Barbara Crampton, Freeman has given Fango word that horror icon Bill Moseley (pictured, above) will also be seen as the crucial Dr. Christian.

LOVE SICK is the story of Rebecca and Marcus who have been together for 10 years and after much deliberation have decided to part ways. After separating and being with others, they quickly realize how hard it is to disconnect from one another. The pain, lies, and betrayal all begin to manifest physically within the both of them as well as infect the others who have become involved with intimately. They love each other so much that it hurts… some more than others.

“The whole movie hinges on the character of Dr. Christian,” says writer-director Todd Freeman, “The fact that we have Bill attached to the movie is just mind-numbingly cool.  He immediately embodies the character and his previous work will give the viewer an idea of what to expect when it comes to the third act insanity.  I think I’m most excited to see Bill in a role unlike any other that he’s played.  I can’t believe that I get to be on the set when he unfurls the madness onto the screen.  It’s truly going to be a wonder to behold.”

LOVE SICK is now expected to shoot in fall 2014. For more on the film, see its short film incarnation, below.
