EXCL Photos: Chris Alexander’s “QUEEN OF BLOOD”

FANGORIA and GOREZONE editor Chris Alexander has just wrapped his second feature QUEEN OF BLOOD, a companion to his first microbudget experimental vampire film BLOOD FOR IRINA, and FANGORIA has a pair of stills to share.

In this considerably larger and more ambitious follow-up, the vampire Irina (once more played by Shauna Henry) is reborn as a kind of vampiric plague, drinking blood through her fingertips and laying waste to a fever dream vision of the Wild West. Skinny Puppy frontman and REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA’s Nivek Ogre joins the cast as an obsessed homicidal frontier preacher and the film features costumes by Alex Kavanagh (the SAW franchise, LAND OF THE DEAD) and special FX work from Paul Jones (SILENT HILL).

Here’s Henry and one of her victims, courtesy of photographer David Goodfellow (who also shot the film).

And here’s Ogre screaming for blood:
