Exclusive clip: “THE MACHINE” gets a creepy-crawly test


The advanced humanoid title character of THE MACHINE is part of a psychological experiment involving an eight-legged lower lifeform in an exclusive clip from Caradog W. James fest-acclaimed, soon-to-be-released sci-fi thriller THE MACHINE. See it after the jump!

Available on VOD next Tuesday, April 8 and arriving in theaters April 25 from XLrator Media, THE MACHINE won the Raindance Award at the recent British Independent Film Awards, Best Film at the BAFTA Cymru Awards and Best Sci-Fi Film and Best Actress at last year’s Toronto After Dark Film Festival. The synopsis: “In a near-future Britain, two computer programmers [played by Toby Stephens and THE PACT’s Caity Lotz] fall in love as they create the first-ever piece of self-aware artificial intelligence, designed to help humanity.
