Exclusive DVD art/date: Little girl lethal in “JUNE”

A little child shall scare them in JUNE, a buzzed-about independent terror tale that’s coming home this fall. We’ve got the exclusive release info and first look at the art.

Fango got the scoop that RLJ/Image Entertainment will release JUNE on DVD and digital October 6. Directed by L. Gustavo Cooper from a script he wrote with Sharon Y. Cobb, it’s a “coming-of-rage story” that stars Kennedy Brice, Casper Van Dien, Victoria Pratt, Eddie Jemison and Addy Miller (like Brice, a guest star on THE WALKING DEAD). The synopsis: “Nine-year-old June [Brice] has been shuffled in and out of foster homes for years. And though she tries to be good, no matter where she goes, a trail of chaos and terror seems to follow. It’s only when June is sent to live with a new couple, Lily [Pratt] and Dave [Van Dien], that it looks as if things might finally work out—except this innocent child with the face of an angel is possessed by an ancient, malevolent entity that has hijacked her soul. Unless June can defeat the demon within, her new family—and mankind itself—are destined for destruction.
