Exclusive photos: guerrilla horror feature “ABSENCE”

A true example of DIY filmmaking, Jimmy Loweree’s ABSENCE is coming to theaters July 5, and we’ve got a trio of exclusive stills to share with you.

Scripted by Jake Moreno and Loweree, shot in the California mountains without permits or any official backing and released by Cinedigm, ABSENCE (see our previous item here) focuses on Liz (Erin Way) and Rick (Eric Matheny), a young married couple who travel to a remote cabin to recover from the sudden and mysterious loss of Liz’s unborn baby. They’re joined by her film-student brother Evan (Ryan Smale), through whose camera we witness increasingly frightening events that reveal the truth about what happened to Liz and her child. Check out the trailer under the photos and learn more about ABSENCE by visiting the official website and Facebook page.
