Exclusive: Release details revealed for “CHASTITY BITES”

Virgins beware! A modern Elizabeth Bathory is hunting victims in CHASTITY BITES, and we just got the exclusive word on when she’s coming to VOD and disc.

CHASTITYBITESDISTRIBNEWSWeirdsmobile Productions gave Fango the first word that CHASTITY BITES has been picked up by Gravitas Ventures for digital and cable unveiling this November, followed by DVD release by Grand Entertainment in February 2014. The film (which we first told you about here) is the feature debut of short filmmaker John V. Knowles and was written and produced by Lotti Pharriss Knowles, and is set in and around San Griento High (get it?). Here, the “Blood Countess” poses as an abstinence educator to seek out unsullied young victims, and is opposed by Leah, a feminist school-paper reporter/blogger. The cast includes WAREHOUSE 13’s Allison Scagliotti, Francia Raisa, Louise Griffiths, Eddy Rioseco, Amy Okuda, Sarah Stouffer, Lindsey Morgan, Laura Niemi, Jennifer Gimenez, Greer Grammer and Fango fave Stuart Gordon.

“We are very excited to be working with Gravitas and Grand!” Lotti Pharriss Knowles says. “They have excellent industry pedigrees and knowledge of the current marketplace, and they both really ‘get’ our movie, which is exciting for any filmmaker.” Prior to its home release, CHASTITY BITES will continue its film-fest tour with showings at the upcoming Montreal Comiccon Horrorfest, the Orlando Film Festival and the 19th edition of the Lund International Fantastic Film Festival in Sweden.
