Exclusive: “STREET TRASH” producer’s award-winning “ANIMOSITY” finds distribution

Roy Frumkes, writer and producer of the gross-out favorite STREET TRASH, served as executive producer of the moodier but still splattery new independent chiller ANIMOSITY. Fango got the first word that the movie has just been signed for distribution.

Bloody Earth Films gave us the exclusive tip that it has picked up ANIMOSITY for DVD and digital release later this year. Winner of the Best Horror Feature award at last year’s Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival, it was written and directed by Brendan Steere and stars Tracy Willet (pictured above) as Carrie, a film composer who moves to a rural house with her doctor husband Mike (Marcin Paluch). She quickly finds that one of her neighbors, the shotgun-toting Tom (Stephan Goldbach), is not at all friendly, and then discovers that supernatural forces are at work in the surrounding woods that lead her and Mike to violently turn on each other. Watch the trailer below and keep your eyes on this site and the pages of FANGORIA magazine for more on ANIMOSITY as it gets closer to release.
