Exclusive trailer, premiere and release info: sexy shocker “SOCIOPATHIA”

Bondage and bloodshed are just part of the twisted world of SOCIOPATHIA, which is headed for release early next year and its premiere next month. We’ve got an exclusive first look at the latest trailer, plus the details of when the movie’s coming.

SOCIOPATHIA is the directorial debut of actress Ruby LaRocca (from THE LOST, FLESH FOR THE BEAST, THE SUPER and numerous others), who helmed it with Rich Mallery; the two also co-star. The premiere, which will be free and open to the public, takes place Thursday, November 19 at 11 p.m. at New York City’s Cinema Village (22 East 12th Street), with cast and crew in attendance signing full theatrical-size posters. Cinema Epoch will release SOCIOPATHIA on Blu-ray, DVD, VOD and digital download February 9, 2016.

Also in the ensemble are Tammy Jean, RETURN TO NUKE ’EM HIGH’s Asta Paredes, SLAUGHTER DAUGHTER’s Nicola Fiore, CALL GIRL OF CTHULHU’s Nicolette Le Faye, THE CEMETERY’s Tabetha Ray, Don Dohler regular George Stover and MORRIS COUNTY filmmaker Matthew Garrett; the makeup FX were created by CALL GIRL’s Jason M. Koch and Kaleigh Brown. The synopsis: “SOCIOPATHIA tells the story of Mara, a new breed of psychopath: one who on the outside appears to be an introverted girl next door, but secretly harbors a violent rage that threatens all who enter her world. Turning her victims into ‘living dolls,’ Mara [Jean] begins to lose her grip on reality when she falls in love with fledgling producer Kat [Paredes]. As her feelings grow stronger, she’s unable to keep her demons at bay and her violent nature takes over, manifesting itself in brutal and disturbing ways.” Track back through our previous SOCIOPATHIA coverage starting here, and visit the movie’s Facebook page.
