,

The third in the popular series of handheld horror anthologies is coming to disc, and Fango got the exclusive word that these editions will include an additional segment, along with the other specs and the cover art.

Magnolia Home Entertainment will release V/H/S: VIRAL on Blu-ray and DVD February 17 on the Magnet Releasing label. With a framing segment depicting a literal chase for viral video directed by DEADGIRL’s Marcel Sarmiento, the movie also includes “Dante the Great,” about a magician with a deadly secret, by DANCE OF THE DEAD’s Gregg Bishop; “Parallel Monsters,” in which a scientist opens a portal to a bizarre alternate dimension in his basement, from Nacho Vigalondo of TIMECRIMES and OPEN WINDOWS; and “Bonestorm” (pictured above), centering on skateboarders terrorized by skeletal cultists in Tijuana, helmed by the RESOLUTION and SPRING trio of Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead. A fourth story, “Gorgeous Vortex” by Todd Lincoln, will appear on the discs as a bonus feature. Other extras are:

• Audio commentary by the directors
• “AXS TV: A Look at V/H/S: VIRAL”
• “Bonestorm”: Behind-the-scenes featurette, FX storyboards, galleries
• “Dante the Great”: “Behind the Magic,” photo gallery
• Director interviews

Retail prices are $29.98 for the Blu-ray, $26.98 for the DVD. See our review of V/H/S: VIRAL here and an interview with the stars of “Bonestorm” here, and pick up Fango #338, now on sale, for a feature story containing interviews with all the filmmakers.
