Experience “FEAR OF CLOWNS” with free short film/TV pilot

Scott W. Perry’s IN FEAR OF series has won solid reactions on the festival circuit and on-line, and now it’s spinning off into a potential TV series. Jump past the jump for a free look at the pilot (visible for a limited time), which delves into the FEAR OF CLOWNS.

Directed by Mark Blitch and written by Jason Walter Vaile, COULROPHOBIA: FEAR OF CLOWNS has done its own fest tour under the title THE RED BALLOON, and has picked up nine awards, including three at the recent Macabre Faire Film Festival in Long Island. Grace Powell, from JACOB and the upcoming HIDDEN IN THE WOODS remake, stars as Maggie, a girl relating her terror of the painted-faced funnymen to a psychiatrist (Todd Terry) while being haunted by an especially nasty clown (Glenn Turney). SWEATSHOP’s Kristi Boul created the makeup FX.

“We are currently pitching the pilot to various networks,” Perry tells Fango. “We’ve had some success and excellent feedback, and now want to ask the horror fans if they would like to see a new anthology come to life where your deepest fears are realized.” For more on IN FEAR OF, head over to its Facebook page.
