Fango Moderates YouTube Panel with Fessenden, Kaufman & MoreNews Fangoria Staff
YouTube is getting right into the Halloween spirit. In addition to teaming with Legendary Entertainment and Guillermo del Toro on a filmmaking contest that will close with one filmmaker receiving a development deal, the site celebrates the opening of their New York City YouTube space this October 1st with an Indie Horror Filmmaking Panel moderated by our very own Samuel Zimmerman.
Featuring acclaimed and decidedly independent genre talents Larry Fessenden (HABIT, pictured top), Lloyd Kaufman (Troma), Glenn McQuaid (I SELL THE DEAD, TALES FROM BEYOND THE PALE) and Onur Tukel (SUMMER OF BLOOD), the Indie Horror Panel will see Fango’s Sam Zimmerman lead the filmmakers through a moderated talk and audience Q&A about creating and crafting indie film and horror.
The panel gets underway at 6:30 p.m. at the brand new New York City YouTube Space at 75 9th Ave (5th Floor). If you’d like to attend, please RSVP here as space is limited.
