Fango’s Sam Zimmerman talks “WORLD WAR Z” on Operation Kino!

Earlier this week I was, excitedly, a guest on Cinema Blend’s podcast Operation Kino, hosted by wonderful peers and writers David Ehrlich, Matt Patches and Katey Rich. We talked this week’s blockbuster appropriation of a zombie movie, WORLD WAR Z.

WORLD WAR Z is, while maybe not onscreen, an interesting film. There’s firstly, just the odd reality of a multi-hundred million dollar zombie movie starring Brad Pitt,  and then subsequently its best moments wholly negating any reason for a multi-hundred million dollar zombie movie to exist. I had planned to write a bit about it, but the occasion of discussing it with the fine folks at Op Kino is much better.

Listen below! For much more,  read our Michael Gingold’s review of the film, visit Cinema Blend and follow @DavidEhrlich, @MisterPatches and @KateyRich.
