Feel the “ABSENCE” via a new trailer

The loss of a baby is always traumatic, but especially in the independent chiller ABSENCE, coming to theaters in July. A new trailer has just hit the web.

Directed by Jimmy Loweree from a script he wrote with Jake Moreno, and coming from Cinedigm July 5, ABSENCE begins with young mother-to-be Liz (Erin Way) having lost her unborn child under mysterious circumstances. She and her husband Rick (Eric Matheny)—who have fallen under suspicion for the baby’s disappearance—decide to retreat to a mountain cabin to recover, accompanied by her film-student brother Evan (Ryan Smale), through whose camera we view the events. Once they’ve arrived up in the woods, the truth about what happened to Liz slowly becomes clear, in horrifying ways.
