Final details: Scream Factory Blu-ray of John Carpenter’s “VILLAGE OF THE DAMNED”


Thirteen years after THE THING, John Carpenter tackled another classic of insidious alien terror with VILLAGE OF THE DAMNED. Read on for the complete info on the upcoming Collector’s Edition Blu-ray.

Coming April 12 from Shout! Factory on the Scream Factory label, VILLAGE OF THE DAMNED retells the tale from the 1960 film in which 10 women in a small town mysteriously become pregnant. Their children prove to be possessed by a malevolent, otherworldly intelligence, and a local doctor (Christopher Reeve) and government scientist (Kirstie Alley) team up to stop the threat. David Himmelstein scripted, and the cast also includes Mark Hamill, Linda Kozlowski, Michael Paré, Meredith Salenger and Peter Jason. The movie will be presented on the Blu-ray in 1080p hi-def 2.35:1 widescreen, with DTS 5.1 Master Audio. Special features are:
