Final “MANIAC” remake Blu-ray/DVDetails, two covers

One of the more successful horror remakes in the last few years is cutting its way onto the disc scene next month, and the full specs and double cover have been unveiled.

IFC Films releases the new version of MANIAC, directed by Franck Khalfoun and scripted by THE HILLS HAVE EYES and HIGH TENSION’s Alexandre Aja and Grégory Levasseur, on unrated DVD and Blu-ray October 15 under the IFC Midnight banner, with reversible cover art. The discs’ anamorphic widescreen transfers will be accompanied by:

• Audio commentary

• Feature length documentary covering all aspects of production

• Deleted scenes

Retail prices are $24.98 for the DVD, $29.98 for the Blu-ray. See our review of the movie here, an interview with Khalfoun here and words with Wood here.
