First Images: Venantino Venantini in Horror Anthology, “PHANTASMAGORIA”

The anthology is back in full force and yet another potential omnibus of terror with an intriguing unifying theme has been announced. PHANTASMAGORIA (not to be confused with Marilyn Manson’s film) seems to be an ode to horror past, specifically billed as “a vibrating tribute to William Castle’s cinema.”

Starring Italian genre vet Venantino Venantini (CITY OF THE LIVING DEAD), as well as Cristina Pucinelli, Alberto Cattaneo, Sophie Paris and Maya Dolan, PHANTASMAGORIA will feature three segments from filmmakers Mickael Abbate, Domiziano Cristopharo (HOUSE OF FLESH MANNEQUINS, DOLL SYNDROME) and Tiziano Martella. No specific details on each chapter just yet, but they are titled “My Gift to You,” “Diabolique” and “Il Serpente dalla lingua d’Accaciao.” Venantini plays “GrandPa” in the “My Gift..”
