First look: DVD art for “THE EXPELLED” (a.k.a. “F”)

The “hoodie horror” film from Britain has undergone a title change for its U.S. release, and we’ve got an exclusive first peek at the DVD cover along with supplement details.

Screen Media Films passed on the art seen below for THE EXPELLED, originally known as F, written/directed by Johannes Roberts and hitting disc July 9. The movie stars David Schofield as a teacher who’s still psychologically reeling from a classroom attack by one of his students, and becomes trapped in his school after hours with fellow educators and terrorized by a gang of hooded young attackers. The distributor let us know that special features will include audio commentary, a making-of segment and an interview with actress Roxanne McKee. Screen Media has also picked up the North American rights to Joko Anomali’s MODUS ANOMALI, a Midnight presentation at last year’s SXSW, and slotted it for August 13. This one’s about a man whose family is abducted while they’re on vacation, and who must follow a series fo pre-set alarm clocks and other clues to rescue them from their sadistic captor.
