First Look: John La Tier’s post-apocalyptic “PAIN”

The director, who previously adapted Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Tell-Tale Heart,” with a cast that includes Rose McGowan and Peter Bogdonavich, is now in post production on a bit of fantasty horror entitled PAIN.

PAIN stars Jake McLaughlin (the upcoming J.J. Abrams-produced, Alfonso Cuarón-directed series BELIEVE) as “The Inquisitor, a devout follower of the Order of Zion and their most effective weapon against apostates who dissent or dare to question any of the Order’s decrees.”

Expect more on the film, which will screen during November’s American Film Market, this week.
