From the FANGORIA Vault: “BODY BAGS”

Welcome, readers! Today, we have exhumed a fine collection of rare stills and pictures from the previously difficult-to-acquire television film, BODY BAGS!

This anthology was originally as a weekly anthology series in the vein of TALES FROM THE CRYPT, but that idea was aborted three episodes into production, leaving directors John Carpenter and Tobe Hooper with enough footage to fashion a television film for the network. What’s resulted is definitely among the stronger of both directors’ late career work, and Carpenter surprisingly gets in front of the camera as the charismatic Coroner. In fact, the film sometimes even plays as a demented “Where’s Waldo?” of horror film faces, with some of the genre’s best known directors appearing left and right. For Carpenter completists who’ve yet to see BODY BAGS for themselves, fear not as SCREAM Factory released the film on Blu-ray for the first time earlier this year.

So crack your neck, roll your eyes and take a look at these pictures from BODY BAGS!
