Craven’s 1988 feature, based on Wade Davis’ non-fiction book about voodoo practices in Haiti, stars Bill Pullman as an anthropologist who travels there to investigate a powder that can allegedly bring dead people back to life, and enters a world of supernatural rites and human evil. The movie, which also stars Cathy Tyson, Zakes Mokae and Paul Winfield, has been given a new 1.85:1 hi-def transfer from the interpositive film element, and is accompanied by these bonus features:

• New audio commentary by Pullman
• New “The Making of THE SERPENT AND THE RAINBOW” featuring new interviews with Pullman, Davis, director of photography John Lindley and special makeup FX artists Lance Anderson and David Anderson
• Theatrical trailer
