Grindhouse Releases “THE BEYOND” Blu this Feb, with Glow in the Dark Art

Fulci’s masterpiece, the hotel hellgate zombie spectacle THE BEYOND is coming to Blu-ray from the beloved, esteemed Grindhouse Releasing this winter.

Updating fans on their Facebook, Grindhouse has revealed both an official release date for THE BEYOND, as well as the package’s glow-in-the-dark art. THE BEYOND is of course Fulci’s 1981 New Orleans and Rome-lensed film about a young woman who inherits a hotel which sits atop a gate to hell. Gory, nightmarish and utterly captivating, the film stars Catriona MacColl and Cinzia Monreale as the blind ghost Emily.

Grindhouse writes in a post about their upcoming MASSACRE MAFIA STYLE: “We are also pleased to announce our Blu-ray release of Lucio Fulci’s supernatural masterpiece THE BEYOND, also arriving February 10 in a super-deluxe 3 disc special edition. Both titles will be available for pre-order later this week. Keep an eye on this page for all the details. Here is a peek at the GLOW-IN-THE-DARK cover art.”
