Hammer Horror to Receive The Documentary Treatment from Diabolique Films

Before this writer became the Web Content Manager (and later, Web Editor & Managing Editor) for FANGORIA, I had the pleasure of cutting my teeth in the horror journalism world for a macabre magazine entitled Diabolique. Serving as their Web Editor from May to October of 2013, I definitely knew that there would be an interesting future for such a bold, classy publication upon my departure as there simply was no other magazine like it. Lo and behold, Diabolique’s ventures since have included the upcoming return of H.G. Lewis, entitled BLOODMANIA, and now, a full-length feature documentary entitled HAMMER HORROR: THE WARNER BROS YEARS.

With one week left on Diabolique Films’ Kickstarter, HAMMER HORROR: THE WARNER BROS YEARS is written/directed by Marcus Hearn and will cover the 6-year allegiance between Hammer Studios and their American distributor, Warner Brothers. Including the participation of film historian Sir Christopher Frayling as well as Hammer stars Caroline Munro, Madeline Smith, John Carson and Veronica Carlson, Diabolique Films looks to make the definitive Hammer Horror documentary for fright collectors around the world. And for further incentive to contribute, limited-edition Hammer Horror posters from artist mark Spears are available exclusively as perks for the crowdfunding process.

You can check out the official poster for HAMMER HORROR: THE WARNER BROS YEARS below, and you can find more information at their crowdfunding page HERE. Stay tuned for more on HAMMER HORROR: THE WARNER BROS YEARS as it becomes available.
