“HERE COMES THE DEVIL’s” Bogliano scripting supernatural horror, “WHITE COFFIN”

As Argentine and South American horror at large is on the rise in a major way, Buenos Aires just played host to Ventana Sur. At the Latin American Film Market, it was revealed HERE COMES THE DEVIL and COLD SWEAT director Adrian Garcia Bogliano and brother Ramiro have scripted WHITE COFFIN, which is expected to shoot in early 2015.

In development since 2007, Ventana Sur has helped bring WHITE COFFIN to life now that Argentina and state film subsidies have an eye for genre. Said to be in the vein of Hammer horror, producer Daniel de la Vega explains, “WHITE COFFIN hypothesizes around the possibility of a mother committing matricide, something that could be scarier than her own death.”

Ventana Sur highlighted upcoming genre production with a section monikered Blood Window, which saw presentations and pitches from the entirety of Latin America and spanned a host of subgenres including hauntings, possession, living dead conspiracy, slashers and more.
