Hideo Nakata’s latest and more coming from new Shock Till You Drop line

As is the case with FANGORIA Presents and Bloody Disgusting Selects, another of our brethren has taken a giant step in their love of horror, aiming to bring exciting international genre films directly to your door. Shock Till You Drop has partnered with indie distribution company The Orchard to release a line of films via DVD and On Demand, beginning this fall.

Isaac Cravit’s SOLO will head up the deal with an October 22nd release date. The film, starring Annie Clark, finds a 17 year-old camp counselor forced to spend two nights alone on a remote, supposedly haunted island. SOLO will be followed by BELA KISS, based on the exploits of the infamous Hungarian serial killer, and Anthony DiBlasi’s MISSIONARY, about the illicit and subsequently obsessive relationship between a married woman and the title character. The fourth acquisition comes from Japan. THE COMPLEX is the latest from RINGU director Hideo Nakata, and concerns a young woman and the strange happenings of her new apartment building.

Shock’s Managing Editor, Ryan Turek, says: “I’m thrilled about this partnership and the launch of the YouTube channel.  This is a natural evolution for ShockTillYouDrop.com, which has been on the frontline of horror. We’ve always got our eye on unreleased films from talented filmmakers and to now be able to give these films a home is exciting.”
