Jamie Lee Curtis and Steve Miner together again for ABC Family Horror-ish Series

Steve Miner (FRIDAY THE 13TH PART II, LAKE PLACID) is reuniting with his HALLOWEEN: H2O star and one of the great scream queens, Jamie Lee Curtis for a potential series entitled THE FINAL GIRLS.

Deadline reports THE FINAL GIRLS will focus on “a group of girls who have, in essence, survived their own personal horror stories and are brought together by a mysterious older woman (Curtis) to channel the stress and scars of their experience for some greater good.” Curtis, of course, had her career made by John Carpenter’s classic HALLOWEEN and recently discussed her time with the director and the HALLOWEEN films on Scream Factory’s excellent Blu-ray for THE FOG.

Miner, meanwhile has helmed the aforementioned best FRIDAY THE 13TH sequel, as well as PART III, the William Katt cult classic HOUSE, WARLOCK and more. He’s most recently directed a number of episodes of the ABC Family series SWITCHED AT BIRTH.
