Jill Tracy Debuts New Dark Musical Short, “PORTRAITS OF A NIGHTMARE”

FANGORIA fans might be (and should be) familiar with Gothic musician Jill Tracy, whom Fango previously premiered her sultry and hypnotic last video, “Pulling Your Insides Out.” And now, Tracy has shared with FANGORIA her newest eerie endeavor: a collaboration with acclaimed L.A.-based director Jeremy Carr entitled PORTRAITS OF A NIGHTMARE!

Shot in abandoned locations in New York on haunting black & white 8mm film, and combined with archival footage from rare vintage medical, fetish, horror and nature films, PORTRAITS OF A NIGHTMARE is underscored by Tracy’s “The Somnambulist Waltz” to a very creepy effect. Whether you’re fascinated with the visceral visuals or the macabre music, PORTRAITS OF A NIGHTMARE contains Tracy’s trademark entrancement and provides the perfect aid to her otherworldly compositions. You can check it out below and if you like what you see/here, explore the depths of Tracy’s nightmarish work at her official site here.
