“KNIGHTS OF BADASSDOM” Unleashed this February

THE KNIGHTS OF BADASSDOM. Merely mentioning the name will raise eyebrows amongst ardent horror fans, as the Joe Lynch film has taken its place amongst the more prolific of the unreleased genre curiosities. However, XLerator Media has announced the a long awaited VOD release on February 11th, with the film being optioned for theatrical exhibition via the crowd-sourcing request site TUGG. And for those wondering, the film will sadly be the edited “producer’s cut” which stirred up controversy earlier this summer when Lynch himself took to social media in protest.

Starring Ryan Kwanten (whose haunt flick 7500 has also been perpetually shelved- hmmm…), Peter Dinklage, Jimmi Simpson, Steve Zahn, Summer Glau and Michael Gladis, the horror comedy film pits Live-Action Role Players against real life demons, and has been regarded as an audience favorite during its 2011 festival run. No word has been released on whether Lynch’s cut will ever see the light of day, but for those who have been waiting, you won’t have to wait much longer to finally see THE KNIGHTS OF BADASSDOM in most of their glory.
