“WOLF CREEK” Director Set to Enter Arclight Films’ “JUNGLE”

Following the seven year gap between ROGUE and WOLF CREEK 2, director Greg McLean is making up for lost time. The director is now set to helm JUNGLE following the rollout of his outback horror sequel and post-production on Blumhouse’s 6 MIRANDA DRIVE.Based on the Yossi Ghinsberg novel of the same name, JUNGLE follows three friends and their fraudulent guide as they find themselves lost in the Bolivian jungle, struggling to survive as the deadliest elements of the wilderness test their faith and fortitude. Written by BAIT 3D co-writer Justin Monjo, JUNGLE promises psychological thrills with McLean’s trademark edge.

Produced by Dana Lustig, Gary Hamilton and Mike Gabrawy, McLean will lens the film in La Paz, Bolivia as well as Australia’s Gold Coast later this year. Arclight Films is currently handling sales of the film in Cannes, so expect to hear distribution and casting news soon. In the meantime, you can see WOLF CREEK 2 in limited theaters and on VOD now; you can read FANGORIA’s review here.
