Mile High Horror Film Festival ’15: Music Showcase and Live “WE’LL SEE YOU IN HELL” Podcast Announced!

,,,

Last week, FANGORIA proudly announced our media partnership with the Mile High Horror Film Festival, working together with the acclaimed up-and-coming Colorado-based festival to provide an essential horror experience for fright fans. So far, FANGORIA has shared with fright fans our 30th Anniversary VHS Screening of RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD with a live Linnea Quigley Q&A as well as Mile High’s 90th Anniversary screening of PHANTOM OF THE OPERA with an appearance from Ron Chaney. Now, FANGORIA is excited to exclusively announce the latest batch of horror happenings at this year’s Mile High Horror Film Festival, which comes alive from Thursday, October 1st to Sunday, October 4th at the Alamo Drafthouse in Littleton, Colorado.

Our first announcement marks our second major collaboration with the festival and is one FANGORIA is particularly excited about, as MHHFF 2015  will host the very first live edition of FANGORIA’s original podcast WE’LL SEE YOU IN HELL, with co-hosts Joe DeRosa (BETTER CALL SAUL) and Patrick Walsh (IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA) in attendance to bring their sinister sensibilites to a live audience. Though details are currently under wraps, fans can expect Joe and Pat’s hilarious fandom for horror on full display at the festival, and marks the inaugural live event for the FANGORIA Podcast Network. Expect to hear more on the exciting live edition of WE’LL SEE YOU IN HELL later this month.

FANGORIA is also excited to report that Mile High Horror Film Festival has formally announced times and details for their esteemed Music Showcase, headlined by FRIDAY THE 13TH star Ari Lehman’s heavy metal band FIRST JASON! Alongside Lehman will be a diverse line-up of some of Colorado’s best bands, including alt-rockers VIRETTA, psychedelic folk outfit CHIMNEY CHOIR, heavy metal masters ARISE IN CHAOS, melodic death metal group EYE OF MINERVA, post-metal purveyors NATIVE DAUGHTERS and hip-hop artists WHEELCHAIR SPORTS CAMP. Beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 3rd and running all the way until 2 a.m. that evening, Music Showcase Passes are on sale for $35 flat HERE and allow all-day access to the event so you can still catch your favorite fright flicks and go back to rocking out anytime you please.

With much more to announce in the coming weeks, FANGORIA is incredibly excited that Mile High Horror Film Festival 2015 is shaping to be one of the premiere genre events of the Halloween Season, and you can still pick up “Scream Passes” to the festival HERE. Meanwhile, keep an eye out for more from FANGORIA and the Mile High Horror Film Festival soon!
