“MISCHIEF NIGHT” to Screen Across the Country on Namesake Date

Richard Schenkman’s upcoming home invasion thriller that harks back to the likes of WAIT UNTIL DARK with its blind protagonist, takes place on the (seemingly made so by movies) infamous eve of Halloween, one Mischief Night. On 2013’s own Mischief Night, the film will hit cinemas for a one night only event thanks to digital distributors SpectiCast.

In the film, a young woman (Noell Coet) who’s suffering from psychosomatic blindness, that stems from the traumatic death of her mother, must contend with a masked intruder on an annual night of chaos.

A full listing of theaters has not yet been released, but keep an eye on MISCHIEF NIGHT’s Facebook. The film is expected to receive a DVD and VOD release later this year, as well.

For more, see exclusive photos from the film here, and check out this map which reveals practically no one in the country calls October 30 Mischief Night except New Jersey and Delaware.
