Mondo pays tribute to EC & “TALES FROM THE CRYPT” with Halloween gallery show

Mondo HQ in Austin, TX is now the Mondo Gallery (4115 Guadalupe St), a home to display their collectible art and host themed shows with even more astounding pieces. Last October, they honored the Universal Monsters. This year, they dip into TALES FROM THE CRYPT, VAULT OF HORROR, HAUNT OF FEAR and all the possibilities and inspiration EC Comics holds.

The standard for gross horror, gallows humor and fine, dripping art, EC and their terror tales remain some of the most significant genre storytelling in the world, inspiring filmmakers, authors and most especially illustrators (thanks to the fantastic work of Reed Crandall, Jack Davis, Frank Frazetta and more). This October 25-November 23, Mondo has invited a long list of fantastic artists to express that influence the best way they know how. The ghoulish art on display is sure to make our jaws drop.
