“MY FAIR ZOMBIE” does the grassroots rounds across North America

Canadian wild man Brett Kelly (MY DEAD GIRLFRIEND) launches his latest horror comedy MY FAIR ZOMBIE in theatres across the US and Canada starting this month. A blood-spattered riff on the warhorse musical MY FAIR LADY, Kelly has taken the ghoul by the horns with his already award winning opus (it won Best Film at the Montreal Horrorfest) with dates booked at the 2013 Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival, a sold out show at Ottawa’s Mayfair Theatre, a screening at Chicago’s B-Movie Celebration and more. The run will climax with a 9 p.m. screening on December 4th at Toronto’s legendary Revue Cinema.

“We are very excited to take a grassroots approach to this flick; The old Kroeger Babb route” says Kelly, referencing the iconic movie showman who travelled from town-to-town. “It’s a fun, unique film that people seem to be enjoying in the company of an audience.”

MY FAIR ZOMBIE stars Sacha Gabriel as Eliza, Lawrence Evenchick as Higgins and was co-written by Brett Kelly and Trevor Payer.
