New poster for “HIDDEN IN THE WOODS” remake

Chilean director Patricio Valladares’ English-language remake of his own HIDDEN IN THE WOODS is going to Cannes, and a cool new poster has been released to go with it.

Dog N Pony created the art seen below for the new HIDDEN IN THE WOODS, which was scripted by Bradley and Kevin Marcus and stars Michael Biehn and Jennifer Blanc (also producing with the original’s Valladares and Evelyn Belmar, plus Loris Curci), William Forsythe, Jeannine Kaspar, Electra Avellan, Chris Browning, Mark Burnham, Richard Gunn, Evie Thompson, mixed-martial-arts fighter Krzysztof Soszynski and ALIENS’ Ricco Ross. The story concerns two girls raised—and abused—by their father, who works for a vicious drug dealer, and go on the run from said dealer when he comes to believe they know where a hidden stash of drugs is located. The original HIDDEN will be released in the U.S. later this year by Artsploitation Films; pick up Fango #323, on sale this week, for interviews with Valladares and Biehn on the Chilean film.
