NY! Fango’s Michael Gingold hosts Joe Dante’s “GREMLINS” in 35mm at Alamo Drafthouse on Friday

As part of FANGORIA’s monthly Graveyard Shift genre screenings at the New York-area Alamo Drafthouse theater, Fango’s Michael Gingold will introduce one of the all-time great horror/comedies this coming Friday night, with prizes to be given away!

On Friday, April 25 at 9 p.m., the Alamo Drafthouse Yonkers, just north of Manhattan (2548 Central Park Avenue, Yonkers, NY) will show a 35mm print of Joe Dante’s box-office smash GREMLINS, executive-produced by Steven Spielberg and starring Zach Galligan, Phoebe Cates, the great Dick Miller and a swarm of mischievous monsters that rampage through the town of Kingston Falls on Christmas Eve. It’s a classic showcase of pre-CGI creature-feature madness, presented on film, the way it was meant to be seen—and before the show, Gingold will host a trivia giveaway of plush Gizmo toys provided by NECA! For tickets and more information, click here, and keep an eye on the theater’s official site for updates on other screenings.
