NY! Gerrit Graham joins Fango’s Michael Gingold for 35mm “PHANTOM OF THE PARADISE” screening at Alamo Drafthouse!

Where’s the Beef? He’ll be at the New York-area Alamo Drafthouse Cinema next month, joining Fango for a 35mm screening of Brian De Palma’s PHANTOM OF THE PARADISE!

De Palma’s 1974 cult classic will be shown at the Drafthouse (2548 Central Park Avenue, Yonkers, NY) on Friday, December 4 at 8 p.m.; actor Gerrit Graham, who plays the unforgettable glam-rock performer Beef, will be there for a post-screening Q&A moderated by Fango’s Michael Gingold. William Finley fills the title role as Winslow Leach, whose music and lyrics are stolen by duplicitous record producer Swan (legendary singer/songwriter Paul Williams, who also created the film’s song score). After Leach’s face is horribly scarred, he dons a silver mask and begins haunting Swan and his new venue, the Paradise; SUSPIRIA’s Jessica Harper also stars as a singer coveted by both Swan and the Phantom. If you’re in or around NYC, come see PHANTOM in all its colorful big-screen glory with its most outrageous character in attendance! For more info and to order tickets, click here.
