NYC! Win free tickets to Bernard Rose’s “FRANKENSTEIN” and “PAPERHOUSE” this week at Scary Movies!

CANDYMAN director Bernard Rose is coming to New York City to host screenings of his new version of FRANKENSTEIN and his little-seen nightmare thriller PAPERHOUSE on Thursday night as part of the Film Society of Lincoln Center’s Scary Movies series, and we’ve got some more free tickets to give away!

Rose will attend showings of his updated FRANKENSTEIN (pictured above), set in modern-day Los Angeles and starring Danny Huston, Carrie-Ann Moss, Xavier Samuel and Tony Todd, and a rare 35mm screening of his beautifully chilling PAPERHOUSE (unavailable on U.S. disc), in which a young girl’s drawings come to frightening life in her dreams, tomorrow, November 5 at the Walter Reade Theater (165 West 65th Street). FRANKENSTEIN starts at 7 p.m. and PAPERHOUSE begins at 9:30 p.m., and we have two pairs of tickets to both to give away.

To enter, send an e-mail to FANGORIAScreening@gmail.com and be sure to put “Rose Horrors” in the subject line, and include your full name and e-mail address. Hurry—deadline for entries is 10 a.m. tomorrow, and we will notify the winners by noon that day via e-mail; tickets will be held at the box office in their names. Good luck, and for more info on the Scary Movies series, click here.
