Directed by Christopher Phelps and Maxim Van Scoy from a script by Phelps and R.S. Fitzgerald, LAKE NOWHERE was shot in and around a remote cabin on the banks of the Great Sacandaga Lake at the base of Adirondack Park in upstate New York. The story begins as a time-honored tale of vacationing friends being stalked by a masked maniac, and then spins off into supernatural and monster-movie territory. The cast includes Wray Villanova, Laura Hajek, Nathan Andrew Wright, Melody Kology, Charles Gaskins, Paul Gagnon and Oscar Allen, with Matthew Howk as the villain; Fango contributor Madeleine Koestner created the makeup FX. The premiere screening takes place on Saturday, October 25 at 11:15 p.m. at Manhattan’s Cinema Village (22 East 12th Street); tickets can be ordered here.
