Philadelphia! See Modern Gorefest “PEELERS” This Saturday for Free!

Earlier this year, Philly-area fright fans were offered one of this year’s most diverse and demented events with the inaugural Philadelphia Unnamed Film Festival. With the indie horror showcase a rousing success, PUFF is continuing on with free screenings of upcoming independent scare fare in the months leading up to Year Two of PUFF. And in the punk-rock spirit of the festival, PUFF is rounding out 2016 with a graphic gorefest that mixes NIGHT OF THE DEMONS with FROM DUSK TILL DAWN, Sevé Schelenz’s PEELERS, which Philly horrorheads can catch for free this Saturday, December 10th!

For those unfamiliar, here’s the official synopsis and NSFW trailer for PEELERS…

What starts out as the last hurrah on the closing night of an infamous small-town strip club, quickly turns into a night of bloodshed when a crew of coal miners shows up and with them a deadly contaminant.  Former baseball player and current club owner, Blue Jean Douglas has decided to hand over her bar to a new owner and leave town for good, but her plans are thwarted when she discovers the magnitude of the epidemic that has been unleashed. With victims piling up, Blue Jean must step up to the plate to protect her family, her friends and her bar before it’s too late and she loses everything she holds dear.

With the free 12/10 screening to take place at Philly’s indie culture hub Cinemug, fright fans can reserve their seat for PEELERS by RSVPing at the official event Facebook page HERE. You can find out more about PEELERS HERE, and stay tuned for more on PUFF here at FANGORIA.com!
